Hi, I am using Affinity V2 Photo (2.3.1.) on macOS Sonoma 14.2.1 plus Wacom Intuos Pro L PTH-860 and Pro Pen 2. For a long time I have had a problem in V2 which is carried from one update to the next: although the eraser of my pen is deactivated, it changes several tools (eg. restore, paint brush) into eraser when the eraser side is held one inch above the tablet surface. Wacom says the problem must be on the affinity side. Is there any solution?

Hi Reinhard K,

It seems that disabling the eraser in the Wacom driver is only telling Windows Ink to disable the eraser. You can select the Windows ink method of input in Settings  >  tools > tablet input method

Hi Lee

thanks for answering. As I am using the German version of V2 I would like to make sure that I am looking at the right point for changes. Do you mean Settings  >  tools > tablet input method in Affinity Photo? If so I am not able to find it. I have added a screenshot to show what tools offers me.

Hi Lee,

I do have another question: is there a fast way to change the user interface language from my usual German into English (and back) - it facilitates participating in the Affinity fora for then I can see the proper terms and names when I am describing something?

Thanks in advance,

Reinhard
