Yes!! Super glad I can finally share this Music Video Visuals with Character Animations now. Put a lot of work, time and effort into this one and had to 'kill many darlings' during the process, but with no regrets! 

Design and Illustrations were all made in Affinity Designer. Also the new Spiral tool was great for doing the inner wound tapes! That tool arrived just in time! 

Animation was completely done in Moho 14 Pro. I've made and audio mastered the music, and also programmed Moho plugin scripts to use the Affinity Designer Spine JSON export to export all graphics as trimmed PNG's and import these with all auto-positioning into Moho quickly and easily. I've also written a script to animate the tape deck by keyframing on speed and accelerations instead of animating on angles.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I had while creating it! 🙂

Out of curiousity: Does anybody know how to get these blue labels in front of the title? Is it Serif doing this, or something we can do? (last time I think it either went automatic or manually by moderators?)

If you are referring to the tags..
1. Edit your Post
2. Add a 'tag' or several tags
3. Use Item Prefix to select the one you want to use!... There are some common | predefined ones but can add your own!

The reel tape recorder is nice!
The counter box comes from a Tascam. I have an 8-track 1/2" Tascam 38 recorder which has the same counter box design.
However, machines with this type of counter already had electronic transport buttons, not mechanical.

Thanks Stuart (also for your like!). [edit] Oh damn... I thought you were talking about 'normal tags', but now I get it. Yes it's working now! So the kind people at Serif were probably doing the tag choosing for me in the past sometimes as it was 'magically' adding a blue tag before. Nice to know we ARE in control of this! Thanks. I love reel to reel recorders. We had one at home in the past and I loved playing with it as a child. 

BTW Hope the tentacles, who dance and play the instruments in the video and tease each other, are a little bit more like reality?

Hehe, at the moment I have four: the Tascam 38, then a 2-track Revox B77 15 ips for mastering, and from my late dad I have inherited two home hi-fi Akai recorders from the 1970s that both need fixing. Given that my studio is just 12 m^2, that's at least two too many…

Backstage/Making of 'Tilo - Master Reel' 🙂 (Only Moho rigging/animation/masking etc. part as I wasn't even planning to create such a heavy project when I started a month ago, so unfortunately didn't record all Affinity design work)
