Whilst using Designer 2, I have been using the perspective tool, however when I try to print the shape produced, the perspective is lost and normal shape is printed, why?

Welcome to the forums @Bob Stone,

Unfortunately there's a bug currently logged with the developers with regard to the Warp group function (Including perspective warp), the warp group's transformation is lost on the final print. This will hopefully be resolved in a later version and i'll bump the existing issue with your report.

If you Right Click > Rasterise the warped object in the layers panel or in the print dialog under the 'Rasterization' tab there is the option to 'rasterise entire page' - either of these options will flatten the warped objects but will keep the warped perspective.
