Ellipse Presets

Is it just me or are Ellipse Presets missing from all versions of the Affinity Apps or is the Help section incorrectly showing this as an option?

Never noticed before, but certainly not seeing the Presets cog on the context tool bar on my PC.

I don’t think Presets are applicable to Ellipses as they have no parametric values to be saved/restored.

I think some of the Help text may have been copied from that of another tool without being edited properly.

Agree and my original assumption as well though I note Rectangles do have presets despite also having no parametric values to be saved/restored.

I think that’s because Rectangles have the Corner parameters: Radius; Absolute; Type; Size.

Thanks for your report Hangman!

I believe the help is incorrect here, as Garry has mentioned the Ellipse has no contextual values and therefore doesn't require/support Presets - so I'm raising this with the documentation team now.

As I understand it, that's to be expected - as the Rectangle Tool supports customisation which can be saved as a preset
