Jpeg 2000 support

Recommended Posts

While Affinity Photo can import Jpeg2000 files, it has no export facility.

Jpeg2000 export would every beneficial for saving high bit depth images while also having good compression. The only 16bit options currently available for export are PNG and TIFF. Both of which produce enormous files in 16bit mode.

An image can be compressed efficiently with Jpeg2000 and retain high bit depth and quality.

Welcome to the forum, snuffles.

I think the team could be adding JPEG XR output in future along with deeper colour support.
