bobdobbs Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 I'm designing a page template. I have a tileable image. I want to tile this image across a rectangular area. How can I do this? Quote
carl123 Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 If you search the Publisher help for "Tile" does the information presented there not do what you want to do? GarryP Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 You can use the Gradient Tool and select the Bitmap fill type from the Context Toolbar. The bitmap that you use for such a fill will need to be taken from storage rather than the document itself. Quote

If I understand correctly, there are two ways to do this: Method A: You can create several shapes Combine them into one shape using geometry functions Then convert the resulting shape into a picture frame and place the image in it. Method B: It is very similar to method A, but you don't convert the shape to an image frame, instead you place the image as child layer and take advantage of the image being clipped to the shape bounds. The group's elements don't need to be converted to curves. With "Lock Children" activated the image gets transformed independently of its nested mask. bbrother 1 Quote • MacBookPro Retina 15" | macOS 10.14.6 | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1 • iPad 10.Gen. | iOS 18.5. | Affinity V2.6

firstdefence Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 I think @bobdobbs needs to clarify whether it's a pattern tiling effect or a single image gridded.
