bbrother Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 Aplication: Affinity Publisher Version: 2.3.0 OS: Windows 10 22H2 Small UI issue in Books panel. The quality of the "Synchronize Chapters" icon is much worse compared to the neighboring "Add Chapter" and "Remove Chapter". It is blurry and looks like it was incorrectly clipped into a square shape. For these reasons it is difficult to distinguish when it is in one of the two active/inactive states. Screenshot bellow↓ PS: I know that the others icons are build from rectangle shapes and can be pixel perfect but the "Synchronize Chapter" icon looks really bad and definitely could be better quality. Staff stokerg Posted January 8, 2024 Staff Posted January 8, 2024 Hi @bbrother, I'm not finding this icon blurred on my setup. Can you confirm if you have any Windows scaling settings enabled and what it's set to? Quote

No @stokerg I don't have any (Windows) scaling options turned on. My display settings are: 100% scale for text, apps and other elements 1440x 900 (WXGA+) screen resolution horizontal display orientation EDIT: @stokerg to be more precise the icon looks too pixelated and like it's cropped too much at the edges. Other icons with a similar shape and appearance in the application look much better, even when they are smaller. Poorly designed icon (design process)? Incorrectly scaled by the application itself? Staff stokerg Posted January 8, 2024 Staff Posted January 8, 2024 Hi @bbrother, I can see the part where it's clipped off. For the blurring, see a screenshot from my Windows laptop, there might be a little bit of blurring but it doesn't show as bad as your screenshot does. Do you have any Windows accessibility features enabled at all? Either way, I'll get this logged with the Developers Quote
