Adriano101 Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 I am working on a document 180 pages long that I received in .docx format. I need to redesign its layout for print and edit formatting. I am new to Affinity Publisher, so this might sound very basic. I have created my new document, A4 with facing pages and a master page. In the mater page I created my text frame on the left page and I have linked the text frame on the right page with the red triangle. When I am on the page 1 of my document, I would like to paste the whole text within the text frame and have the document doing the following: - automatically create as many pages as the text requires - link all the text frames together; eg: if the text exceeds the text frame on page 3 it should automatically link the text frame on page 4, and so forth. Is there a way to do this? Quote
thomaso Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 In Affinity it's called AutoFlow text … https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/196677-copied-text-only-partially-pasting-into-an-affinity-publisher-document/&do=findComment&comment=1158525 Quote • MacBookPro Retina 15" | macOS 10.14.6 | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1 • iPad 10.Gen. | iOS 18.5. | Affinity V2.6

If you want to add as many pages as needed to include all the pasted content, you 'll have to press Shift instead… Adriano101 1 Quote Affinity Suite 2.5 – Monterey 12.7.5 – MacBookPro 14" 2021 M1 Pro 16Go/1To I apologise for any approximations in my English.
