EmanueleSabetta
Please add SVG SMIL export to Affinity Designer for exporting frame by frame animations, like the Adobe Animate CC plugin Flash2SVG does ( https://github.com/TomByrne/Flash2Svg ) . ajay.ganapathy
That's an interesting request, but affinity designer isn't an animation tool.It would be neat to see serif make an 'affinity animator' ... however, part of the appeal of affinity designer is that it doesn't have the feature bloat characteristic of adobe apps.Additionally, unlike the teams that make adobe apps, the affinity designer team is focused on getting just a few features right, rather than piling on new features without fixing the bugs in old ones. Peregrin
Part of what makes Affinity great is the compatibility of its various apps with one another, so they should definitely make an "Affinity Animator" focused on the task instead of adding those features to apps focused on other things. Rather than taking Designer and tacking on a half-assed animation tool, they should make an app that will actually animate well, which would follow their pattern of making different yet compatible apps. I don't know much about animation, but I feel like it would be better if, after creating your assets in AD, you'd actually do the animation in an application meant specifically for animating those assets. Judging by how AD and AP are able to work so well with one another, this seems a better choice than simply adding a few features to AD and calling it a day. ajay.ganapathy

Neither is photoshop, but you can create animated PNG's in photoshop... This is the only reason I still NEED photoshop! So YES affinity would do well to add something like this.
