tcdaly Posted January 4, 2024 Posted January 4, 2024 I notice that the names of anchors in the 'Anchors' panel are now displayed in light grey text, making them look as if they are disabled (see screenshot). They used to be displayed in black text. Is this intentional or a bug? Quote

Perhaps it should have worked the same way as in the Layers panel, where the default text (layer type) is dark, and only the user-entered name is highlighted. Because you have your UI colour set to dark, the grey text stands out more than in my screenshot, where I have the UI colour set to light. I don't like the grey text as it makes it look like the anchors are in some way disabled. I assume this changed in the latest update to v2.3.0 - previously I recall the text colour was black. Quote
Dan C Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 Thanks for your report @tcdaly! 16 hours ago, tcdaly said: I assume this changed in the latest update to v2.3.0 - previously I recall the text colour was black. I can confirm that this is a regression in 2.3, as previous Windows versions used black/white text for this list, depending on the UI Mode enabled: (Screenshots taken from 2.1.1) Therefore I'm getting this logged with our development team now. I hope this helps Quote
tcdaly Posted January 6, 2024 Author Posted January 6, 2024 Thank you @Dan C! So is the plan to revert to black/white text in future versions? Quote
Dan C Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 I suspect so, but we'll be able to confirm once the issue has been resolved by the development team internally Quote
Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted January 9, 2024 Staff Posted January 9, 2024 The issue "[WIN] Anchor list now uses grey text, which makes entries appear disabled" (REF: AF-1685) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.4.0.2222". This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release. Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions. If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us. Quote
Dan C Posted January 9, 2024 Posted January 9, 2024 Just to confirm, this is how the Anchor panel displays the listed entries in 2.4, returning the previous text colours: We hope to be able to release this 2.4 beta publicly shortly Affinityconfusesme 1 Quote
