Rotate Document in Develop Persona

Since 8 years an essential feature is not available:

Please add the ability to rotate a document in Develop persona out of the box, via menu and shortcut, on all Platforms including iPad. 
it is possible only when you edit the toolbox to add the symbol, or switch to Photo persona.

 

For those who tried to rotate via crop tool in Develop persona: it does not work in a useful way

Those icons can be added in Develop Mode by using View->Customise Toolbar and the rotation ‘sticks’ all the way through to export. This works in V1 & V2.

The keyboard Shortcuts are not working

you got a useless 15 degree step rotation in the menu by default

Sorry, I can't understand the problem, rotate icons in develop mode work in 90 degree steps for me on my Mac?

I only came across this because people on my Affinity Photo FB group were not aware you can correct a landscape <->portrait image in Develop mode and while checking found the icons work on V1 & V2. I have not checked my PC yet. EDIT: Icons for rotate 90 work fine in Develop mode on my old Win 10 PC as well.

(Not available on iPad which is a shame though I agree)

EDIT: Sorry I think I understand now, there is no keyboard shortcuts so you have to use the icons in Develop mode.

The issue is:

1. no menu option to rotate by 90 degree available
2. no shortcut available
3. option to customize toolbar to add function is not obvious for users seeking in menu, and cannot be done in Develop persona, and cannot be done at all on iPad
4. instead a useless option to rotate 15 degrees is in menu, incl. shortcuts

it is unacceptable to force users into toolbar customization and not offering this out of the box and in menu

Sorry this part item 3, yes agreed it is not obvious, however the toolbar indeed can be customised in Develop mode with 90 degree steps but only on Desktop PC and Mac. 
 

My video above shows a 90 turn for a single press of the rotate icon in development mode.
