After creating a new vector layer or pixel layer ("Layer 1") each new object opens in an individual sublayer of "Layer 1."  In Adobe Illustrator these sub-layers only open up in the layers panel when prompted to do so. In the Affinity Designer layers panel is there some way to prevent these sub-layers from automatically opening up?

Hi @Michael3d and welcome to the forums,

If you uncheck 'Auto-scroll' from the Layer panel hamburger menu, that should do the trick...

Thanks Hangman, That worked. Useful information for me and really helps. I have a lot of layers in my drawings and the layers palette fills up pretty quick when each sub layer opens every time I add another object. Thanks again, Michael3d
