bunny_in_the_dark Posted December 25, 2023 Posted December 25, 2023 (edited) I recently tried to import the add-ons that I have bought to Designer, Photo and Publisher (all V2). All of them failed to install, giving an error message. There is plenty of space on my iPad Pro (iOS 16.3.1 with 429GB available). I attempted both methods described in the help section, focusing especially on Designer V2 as that was the program I wanted to use with the add-ons. Now, I have no brushes at all in my Designer V2, not even the original default ones that came with the program, and I don’t know what I should do. I have tried resetting the brushes to the defaults, but there’s still nothing there. I would ideally love to have all my add-ons installed and available, but at the very least I’d like to restore the default brushes as it’s rather limiting to have none. Additionally, all the programs seem to also crash when I try and select the brush tool. Edited December 25, 2023 by bunny_in_the_dark Realised I had forgotten about the crashing detail Quote
walt.farrell Posted December 25, 2023 Posted December 25, 2023 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. 15 minutes ago, bunny_in_the_dark said: All of them failed to install, giving an error message. It would help to know what error message they gave. Also, if you hover the pointer over the red X in your second screenshot, there should be a message, I think. In any case, from other reports Yyu will probably need to Reset the programs, which will remove any previously installed brushes, assets, etc. and set them to a fresh "factory installed" state. To do that: Make sure none of the Affinity V2 apps are running. Start one of them, and when you see the Splash screen, quickly double-tap it with one finger. That should give you a dialog to reset the application. You should see a section of options for resetting the Brushes, Assets, etc. in all 3 applications. I would suggest choosing at least Brushes and Assets from that list, but if there are more things that aren't working you should select them, too. Then click the button to perform the reset.
