Affinity Designer 2.3.0 on Windows 10

In the export options panel (Export Persona) there is scrollable content, but the scrollbar is not rendered. For me this is a UI bug.

Fortunately, you can still scroll the view using the mouse wheel. But the scrollbar should be rendered in this case. This would be a clear indication to the user that there are more options that do not fit in the current view.

Picture of the problem below.

Thank's Garry.

Once again, a poor forum search engine in action. Or maybe I should use more relevant keywords when searching. Sorry moderators, I'll try better next time.

This search (scroll export options) found it, if that helps you understand more about searching via the built-in search. But it is necessary to weed out some irrelevant hits.

bbrother: I think it was still worth you adding the bug report as the thread I linked to was just a discussion in “Questions”, rather than a request/report, and now the issue is something which can be tracked in the forums.

It was from Questions, not Bugs, but it includes a bug tracking tag/number, and thus is trackable. It wasn't easily searched, though, if one restricts searches to the Bug forums :)

It was from Questions, not Bugs

This is one of the problems why there may be duplicate posts about the same bug. The logic tells to search in the bug forum and not the question forum to verify if a bug was already reported. And that's how i usualy search.

The problem with that approach (which I also sometimes use) is that you often need to search both the Windows and the Mac bug forums, since you can't be sure where it will be reported in many cases.

In addition to what Walt said above, some people may report an issue as a bug while other people might report exactly the same thing as feedback.

If you are generally searching for something in the forums it’s usually best to search the forums as a whole rather than specific sections.

By doing so you will often get more results than you might want to see but some of those results may contain ‘workarounds’ and/or other useful information.

At least you should get a reasonable idea of how often the same thing comes up and you may find that the staff are already aware of the issue via something else, and therefore a new bug/feedback thread may not be necessary.
