I'm not qualified to know which is right but there's an insistent translation of bleed in v2, and curiously it was inconsistent in v1 but the opposite way.

  • New Document: In v2, "Bleed" is translated as Anschnitt but in v1 it was translated as Anschnittbereiche
  • Document Setup: In v2, "Bleed" is translated as Anschnittbereiche but in v1 it was translated as Anschnitt
  • Export: In v1 and v2, "Include Bleed" is translated as "Inklusive Anschnittbereiche"

I don't know whether they should all be the same or not, but I'd guess that New Document and Document Setup should both be "Anschnitt" while Export should be "Inklusive Anschnittbereiche" (Include bleed areas).

To me it does not make a difference. At least, there is no chance for a misunderstanding or misleading (… different to the German export area option "Alle Layoutseiten" or "Alle Seiten", while "Druckbögen" would be a more common and less ambiguous term for spreads and "Einzelseiten" for single pages).

In German to include "Anschnitt" and "Anschnittbereich" and "Anschnittbereiche" (plural) or even "Beschnittzugabe" (not used by Serif) means all the same.
(... as it hardly would make a difference in English to "include bleed" or "include bleed area" or "include bleed areas", right?)
