Rod Johnson Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 I don't know if this is the sort of thing you need reporting but hear goes, 1. In the beta program on the assets panel, library panel & macro panel there is a small cross to dismiss the panel but not in the standard version. 2. In the beta program when inpainting after straightening it leaves a distinguishable line even at 3 pixels feather, it does not do this in the standard program but my macro is much older in the standard program and the one in the beta program is new that's how I found out the difference. 3. When using layers in beta it does not automatically child layer into the first layer when altering a photograph but it does in the standard program. Once you have removed it it does not continue to child layer except when you insert a new pixel layer it then child layers again. My version of Windows is the home version. Rod Johnson Quote

Sounds like the panel is docked in the retail version, but undocked in the beta. 10 minutes ago, Rod Johnson said: 3. Sounds like you are using different Assistant Settings between the retail and beta versions. stokerg 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. Could you export both Macros and attach them here? If you add beta to the file name of the one recorded in the beta, I can get them looked at to see if the difference is expected or not. Quote
