v2.3 Photo windows: Histogram not updating after plugin used

not sure how I can capture this one. Basically what happens is
> merge visible to new layer (all good)
> initiate filter plug in (e.g. Topaz), plugin executes and returns picture in layer fine.
> histogram not updated to reflect changes in picture.
However, if I then save the file, the histogram then updates.

Hi @Simonkidd,

I've just quickly tested this with Topaz Photo Ai and increased the Lighting on an image and on returning to Affinity Photo from Topaz, the Histogram updated for me without needing to close the image.

Can you give me your exact workflow of which plugin you are using and which settings you are changing?

Im really not sure whats happened here. Too easy to blame the windows update.
Ive just loaded in the large (1Gb+) file I was working on last week, added a few adjustment layers, made a merged layer in the middle, sent that out to topaz and made some adjustments, returned and the histogram updated after about a second. I had wondered if the (many) adjustment layers under the merged layer were being recalculated before the histogram updated from the amended merged. But, in spite of my messing about to try and do a quick video, everything behaved - typical.
I should add, this was not a once off and had occurred a few times.
I will try again in the week with a few other programs open to see if there might have been a conflict. If so I will do a video.
