Godsgirl
Hi everyone. I am looking for an expert who can convert a 300+ page Word document into Affinity Publisher 2. It is an instruction book and contains many tables. I don't know this program very well and am having to learn as I go.

Staff Dan C Posted December 12, 2023 Staff Share Posted December 12, 2023 Hi @Godsgirl, Please note that as part of the Affinity Forum Guidelines, we do not allow users to solicit services from other members, in any capacity: Quote You may not distribute or otherwise publish any material containing any solicitation of funds, promotion, advertising, or solicitation for goods or services. However, I am certain the Affinity team and other members of the Forums will be happy to assist you with your workflow, should you have any specific questions regarding your import/conversion into Publisher. Firstly, if you are new to the app I would recommend familiarising yourself with the UI and it's functions, as this will go a long way in helping understand the necessary steps when importing your DOCX file. I have included some links below for the Affinity resources, including our 'Quick Start Guide', video tutorials, online helpfile and a third-party Publisher manual, kindly shared for free on the Forums by @MikeTO! : Quick Start Guide: https://affinity.serif.com/learn/publisher/desktop/quickstart/ Tutorials: Online helpfile: https://affinity.help/ Publisher PDF Manual: Hopefully these should help get you up-and-running with Publisher and your document import workflow. If you have any issues or further questions regarding your workflow, or need advice for a specific section of the app, I'd recommend creating a new thread with as much information as possible, including screenshots of the Affinity app etc where appropriate, and I'm certain the team/community will be happy to assist further. I hope this helps
