Designer 2.3 (iPad) crashing when opening the app

I understand this is a frequent bug with the newest update, but I thought I’d still report it to be able to troubleshoot it in case there is a solution. 

I’m using Affinity Designer, 2.3, the latest update and whenever I try to open the app after a few seconds it crashes. Most of the time I don’t even have time to open a file, and it just crashes. It has worked a couple of times to open but then next time I try to use the app, it crashes. It happens with creating a new document, importing existing files, etc - I don’t really know if there’s something specific taking place. 

I’m currently on a 2020 iPad Pro.

Hi @esmiora and Welcome to the Forums,

Can you just check for a crash report and attach it?  To find the report, Go to Settings > Privacy > Analytics > Analytics Data

You will see an alphabetical list showing all crash reports on your iPad. Find and open the one that corresponds to the Affinity app that's crashing. Click Share to save to an .ips file then attach it here.

I solved the problem by double clicking and resetting everything
