I am trying to create a drawing in Designer v2 using the pen tool to create lines but then change to a brush stroke.  So, I draw a line using the pen tool, then select the line and choose a brush stroke, the stroke is sort of applied, but is always the same thickness all the way across the line instead of being, say wide at one end and thin at the other.  Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

In the Stroke panel try applying a pressure curve. I have no idea why this is necessary but it always seems to have needed that.

Thanks for the help.  Would be nice if just choosing the stroke would do the job.

I found that I need to use the pressure setting in the stroke panel to initiate the brush strokes that I had picked from the brushes panel, after that it seemed to work as expected.
