artjourney Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 I have scanned through posts talking about editable fields in PDF, and currently none of that is possible in AP. I’m hoping that future AP will have it. Right now I wonder if there’s a workaround. Is it even possible to design just a page with checkboxes in another app and then have that PDF imported into AP and then having it exported along with AP pages afterward? Also popups would be great. Here are practical usages: 1. For checkbox, this can be helpful with Bible Reading plan, where readers can read the Bible within the PDF and then check what they have read. 2. Popup: Can be useful if user click on a word and a popup appears with definition or any kind of information. Quote

Unfortunately the Affinity apps are unable to import/export interactive checkboxes at this time, as this isn't a supported feature of Affinity currently, though we may look to implement this in the future. The existing checkboxes in your file will likely be imported into Affinity as a basic 'Rectangle' or 'Curve' objects, and this is also what will be exported from the apps. I hope this clears things up Quote
