My Afpub doesn’t want the pics anymore - neither with linking, nor with replacing ... (Affinity 1)

Hi, I changed the Profile of the Pics (ISO uncoated > ISO coated v2 300%), saved it, and now my Afpub doesn’t want them anymore neither with linking, nor with replacing ... the pics have the same name, they are just in another folder, but Afpub ignores them. I tried to replace them, but many of them are not "active" as you can see on the pic. What can I do? Thank you so much!

Could you upload a couple of sample files both before and after you changed the profile... The greyed-out files have no thumbnail, how did you do the conversion?

Hi Hangman! You are right and one thing seemed strange to me, too ... when I click on the filename, I cannot change it ... but it is not locked ... super strange ...

I opened the jpg (with the correct Profile) and saved it. That’s it ...

I send you a pic, before and after, maybe you have an idea ... thank you so much!

(Another strange thing: I can’t send the second jpg to you, so I have to zip both!)

Have you tried rebooting your Mac? I'm not seeing any issues with either file, both have a thumbnail and both are available to add to a Publisher document...

This is a mystery ... after you told me, I sent my pics to two friends. They told me the same ... Thank you so much für doing a video and for taking your time!

I wrote an Email to my IT, if he can reboot my Mac. Maybe that works! Best regards from Berlin

Hi Hangman, I didn’t realize that a reboot is a new start ... 😅 Sorry 🙈
Today I took all the old pics and saved them with the new Profile again. This time it worked, but I don’t know why ... Thank you so much, you made me aware that there’s something wrong with the jpgs ... 🙏🏼
