Flood Fill Tool adjust tolerance

If you drag the Flood Fill Tool you can adjust the tolerance. I understand this is a feature not a bug. Would it be possible to have a switch to turn this feature off please? I do a lot of flood filling of line art. I often accidentally drag and mess up the tolerance and have to go back and do it again.

It would be nice to be able to turn this behaviour off for the Flood Select tool, too.

There are lots of selection use-cases where you need to click a bunch of times with Flood Select in Add Mode rather than using the Selection Brush, and if you don't completely arrest your mouse movement between each click, you inadvertently change the tool's tolerance.
