I find the grid essential to applying a correct perspective on anything but rectangles:

However in AD i can't find where to turn it on? Just the nodes and outer frame is visible.

I don’t think there is a grid for the Warp Group functionality.

You can add new junctions to get what looks like a grid but that makes the warping work differently.

Hm, I thought the apps used mostly the same "engine" behind the tools, but maybe not. I find it really hard to warp correctly without guidelines, so now I just draw a grid out of curves in a rectangle, warp that first and then put the actual object in the group, but that's more of a workaround.

I'm assuming we all(users) agree that it's easier to warp good when we see the visual of a grid?
