Unfortunately, an afpub document that is placed in another document is completely rasterized - including the vector elements and fonts.

This isn't the case with placed PDFs either...!?

This urgently needs to be changed!

Es liegt offensichtlich an der PDF-Ausgabe. Die Ausgabe von X-3 ist gerastert, aber von Stand her korrekt. Die Ausgabe mit X-4 ist nicht gerastert, aber das CD-Label ist angeschnitten und verzogen (siehe PDF im Anhang).

It's obviously due to the PDF output. The output from X-3 is rasterized but is technically correct. The X-4 edition is not screened, but the CD label is cut and distorted (see attached PDF).

I'm not seeing this behaviour currently, though it may depend on your specific file being placed, and as you've mentioned the PDF export settings being used.

Are you able to provide a copy of the 2 .afpub files, so that I can investigate this further? If you'd like a private upload link for the file, please don't hesitate to ask :)
