Image flattening and layers merging when exporting to PSD

When exporting to PSD, the file comes out as a flattened file with no layers. The original file is made up of multiple layers, some in groups, made up of curve layers and one pixel layer. Just can't figure out why it won't export with layers intact.

Hi @Karl Toon,

Would really need to see a copy of the file you are exporting in order to see whats going on.

As you've not mentioned which Affinity app you are using, can you upload either the afpub, afdesign or afphoto file for your project to our Dropbox here and we can look into why it's being flattened on export.

What PSD export settings are you using and which app are you checking the PSD file in?

I've exported using PSD Preserve Accuracy and Preserve Editability and both PSD files have Layers present.

The only one that didn't is the PSD Final Cut Pro X Preset, as by default that has Rasterise All Layers enabled.  You can untick Rasterise All Layers and Affinity will then export using the PDF Preserve Accuracy preset.

Okay. Got it now thanks. Tried what you said above, but still had problems. I changed the color format from RGB/16 to RGB/8 and am having more luck now. It imported with layers okay into Moho, but then Moho crashed! That's not Affinity's problem though.
