I often use an external screen with mu 2023 15" MB Air. When disconnecting the screen, the UI does not scale to the MB screen size making it unworkable. Please check the screenshot. Affinity Designer 2.3.0

Any idea on how to solve this? Hope the issue makes sense.

Window menu → Zoom should usually reset the window dimensions.

Also, the 15" MBA is capable of display resolution of a whopping 2880×1864 px, selectable in System Settings → Displays if you enable the advanced options. You may need a magnifying glass to actually read something on the screen, but it may temporarily help to rearrange screen elements that may have been stuck beyond the regular display bounds.

(For the record: in my studio I also use an external display with my 15" MBA, but it's only an old "Full HD" display so the issues I'm experiencing are neglectable.)

MacBookAir 15": MacOS Sonoma > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 18 > Affinity v2

This works. Who wold have guessed!

It is still hard to grap the lower right corner to make the window even smaller, but it works! Thanks Loukash!
