I've seen quite a few posts criticising the UI, so I thought I would create a specific post for sensible commentary and explanations; both written and visual, of how you think the UI should be improved.

In Photo, I would like to be able to search color swatches by name.

Would also like to see Spare Channel highlighted when selected.

I am using V1 so, sorry if these changes are already in V2.

Affinity Photo and Design V1. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. Dell Precision 7710 laptop. Intel Core i7. RAM 32GB. NVIDIA Quadro M4000M.

As far as I can recall, it may have been there all the time from the very launch of Designer in 2014.

LOL! I also noticed this thread may not have been started in the correct section. Fortunately, for me, if it had been in the right section, I would have never seen it since I never read that section. In any case, I have already saved tons of time with the information I received.
