Since updating to 2.3 none of the Affinity apps open, they crash before getting to the main screen.

I have received some assistance on FB page, including holding ctrl to reset app date, but now before I can finish typing in email and password the app crashes.

I have deleted and reinstalled a few types. Rebooted the machine. Nothing seems to help.

My PC is in for repairs/upgrade so I am unable to test on that at the moment.

Has anyone had similar issues? It's just a bit frustrating because I have lots of work to catch up on since Friday now...

I am getting assistance from Affinity via FB but am just wondering if anyone else is having similar issues?

Hi @Paul Hodgsonand Welcome to the Forums,

I can see from the Facebook message we are just waiting on a Developer checking the crash report and we hope to know more soon.

As soon we get an update, you'll get a reply on Facebook and i'll also reply here as well :)

I seemed to have fallen victim to this same issue.

Was doing some odd system stuff on my Mac for other purposes (rebooting in different partitions, resetting some configs, etc) And then all my Affinity Apps got stuck starting up somewhere around "loading fonts & content". Several force quits and a restart later and they all asked for license activation, but would crash before I had a chance to enter any info.

Deleting the v2 folder as @Paul Hodgson mentioned seems to have cleared it up. Had to enter activation on one app, and accept terms for all three, but I'm back in business.
