My Grid has Disappeared Mid-Project (Design 2 on iPad Air)

Hi everyone, could I please get some help with this issue I’m having? 

I am using Affinity Design v2 on my iPad Air and for some reason my grid has disappeared completely, I have tried re-defining the grid in settings and have also simply tried making sure it is visible by toggling multiple settings like grid visibility, preview mode, etc. to no avail. 

This happened mid project and I cannot find a way to show it again. I can see the tiny pixel grid if zoomed in super close but I really do need the grid to finish my design. To me it appears to be a bug because everything is turned on and I feel I it should just be visible, but I am not a pro so I’m sure I’m just missing something.

Does this grid issue occur in a new document or is it only happening on this particular document.
