Ludwig E. Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 I recently upgraded my computer to Win 11 and improved hardware (11th gen Intel i7, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTZ 3050) . Since then focus stacking NEF (Nikon RAW) files freezes the entire PC when Affinity tries to load the first image of the selection. The only thing I can do is to switch the PC off and restart. This has never happened before and I wonder what is going on. I already ticked off Hardware Acceleration, but no effect. Quote
NotMyFault Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 Did you install NVIDIA drivers? This matters even if HW acceleration is off. Staff stokerg Posted December 5, 2023 Staff Posted December 5, 2023 Hi @Ludwig E., Most crashes like these will be related to the graphics card drivers, so make sure you have the latest ones and even if they are, performing a clean install of them would be a good idea. Quote
Ludwig E. Posted December 9, 2023 Author Posted December 9, 2023 Thank you both, the PC is new and the latest driver installed Quote
