I don't use my affinity software regularly, just when I have a job that needs adjusting / printing.  I tried to use it last weekend, both Affinity Photo 2 and Affinity Publisher 2.  Both wanted to upgrade, so I let them.  I then spent a while editing a picture from my pc hard drive and tried to export it as a pdf when complete (just cropped, rotated and adjusted some of the levels).  It wouldn't save saying that the file was not found - well it wouldn't be as I was creating a new file with my adjusted photo.  I then tried Publisher and spent some time editing the large amount of text for the greetings cards I was producing.  i tried to save and again failed with the same error.  I have got around it in the short while as I still have version 1 on my pc as well (not sure why).  Until the update I have never had a problem.  Please help.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @Emborough.

Sorry to hear you're having that problem. If you're on Windows, it sounds like you may have an issue with Controlled Folder Access in your anti-virus settings in the System. You could try saving to a different folder, or go into your Controlled Folder Access settings in Windows and allow the new applications to save where you're trying to save,.
