Porridge Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Hi encountered this problem after watching a ToC tutorial that makes a ToC in the desktop version of publisher. I can edit the ToC heading 1, but the heading 2 dialogue box is empty. In the desktop version this was not the case. This is from a new document I made to replicate the problem. running Ipad version 16.6.1, publisher v 2.3.0 Quote
MikeTO Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 I don't know if this is a known bug or not because I don't use the iPad version regularly, but I tested it and confirmed this bug in 2.3.0. Clicking the menu icon beside a TOC text style that isn't the selected one will open a blank menu. This only happens for TOC text styles, not with regular text styles. The workaround is to click in the TOC heading 2 text before editing the style and then the menu icon will work properly. Porridge Posted December 3, 2023 Author Posted December 3, 2023 Hi. Thanks a lot for confirming the bug. The work around saves me, still a bit annoying that you cannot lookdev the text changes on the IOS version, but i am able to customize it now. Hope they fix this. Would be nice to be able to see the changes realtime as well. Quote
