TanBrae Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 In AP v. 2 (2.3), Mac Sonoma (14.1.2) I want to create an 8.5x11 document with transparent background, and .25 inch margins. I change all the margins, and SEE that they ARE changed, but when I click Create, the bottom margin stays at 1.25. I close it, check the margins again, and click Create, and it opens with the margins I choose. This is the third time it has happened, so I guess it's recreate-able. It used to work as it should prior to the latest update. No unusual hardware connected (just an external from which I'm working), and the Hardware Acceleration change did nothing. Not a big issue, but thought you'd like to know. Quote
walt.farrell Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 AP is the abbreviation for Affinity Photo. Is that what you mean, or did you intend Affinity Publisher (APu or APub)? And, yes, I clicked Enter after editing the last margin. Screen Recording 2023-12-04 at 9.51.02 AM.mov Quote

You may need to "commit" the field edit by pressing Enter, Return or Tab before you click Create. In fact, if that's the last thing you're editing in the dialog, pressing Enter or Return twice will commit the field value change and create the new document. loukash Posted December 4, 2023 Posted December 4, 2023 Also, I'm not sure if it's really a bug because many input fields – also in many other apps – require this kind of confirmation before applying a value change. This is sometimes a Good Thing™. I'll try twice the next time. Quote
