Granddaddy Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 I did not find this reported previously in a quick search. Given that the misnaming also occurs in APub 1.10, if it had been reported earlier I assume it would have been fixed by now. The Tools Panel is referred to as the Toolbar in the prompt for View/Customize Tools... Perhaps this helps explain why so many people misname the toolbar and tools panel when posting in these forums. The Help system appears to use the correct terminology. Quote Affinity Photo 2.6.3 (MSI); Affinity Publisher 2.6.3 (MSI). MikeTO Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 It's correct on macOS in both English US and UK so this is Windows specific. Tools/Toolbar should probably be capitalized but not a big deal. Staff NathanC Posted December 4, 2023 Staff Posted December 4, 2023 I've now logged this naming issue with the developers. 🙂 Quote
Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted January 9, 2024 Staff Posted January 9, 2024 The issue "[Win] Customise tools list is incorrectly labelled" (REF: AF-1421) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.4.0.2222". This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release. Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions. If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us. Quote
