toad_uk Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 The bug is reported as fixed in the beta forum and is indeed fixed in the beta version. However, the issue still occurs in Photo 2.3 released today. Quote

The released version of 2.3 is the same build as the final beta of 2.3 so there must a configuration difference between your two installations that is causing the problem. Obviously it shouldn't crash but perhaps somebody more knowledgeable than I am about macro packs will have a suggestion. Perhaps remove them and reinstall them? walt.farrell Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 (edited) If I remember correctly, in one topic in the beta forum it was stated that for this one the user would need to redownload & reinstall the pack from the Store. Edit: The release notes also say that a reinstall of the pack is needed: Quote Frankentoon "Splat" macro pack crashes the apps (also needs new download from the Affinity store) Edited December 4, 2023 by walt.farrell Added info Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. toad_uk Posted December 4, 2023 Author Posted December 4, 2023 Thanks guys. I have downloaded and reinstalled but the situation is the same. I'll have a look at the configurations, but can't see anything yet. Thanks again. Quote
