Unfortunately the S/W does not support RAW files taken with SONY modern cameras that can take compressed RAW files (lossless). The idea (of SONY) is to allow storage of more pictures on the memory card while taking RAW compressed files that are smaller in size and still lossless, as shown in the attached menu picture.
