jimos87 Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 Does anyone know how to do this? i ve set the margins and measured the card and where the pre crease is but when you set that up in publisher the spaces either side are different sizes. i am measuring from the margin around the fold not the fold itself I have gotten it to work to the fold but i always have a 10mm white space at the top i cant get rid of. Any Ideas? Square card test.afpub Quote
Oufti Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 The 3 central guides are not centred on the page. I would erase them, duplicate the image (temporarily for viewing clearly, to be deleted later), move it at the bottom of the page (either using the transform panel after having chosen the appropriate reference corner, or with snapping) and create a guide for the center fold, also relying on snapping options reduced to the minimal needed for this operation, like in the screenshot here. In the Transform panel, I choose the right bottom corner and set the field for Y position to the height of the document (337 mm). Staff Lee D Posted December 1, 2023 Staff Posted December 1, 2023 @jimos87 In terms of center based on the overall page length of 337mm it would be 168.5mm. If you're measuring from top margin to bottom margin which is 331mm, the centre is 165.5mm. I've attached a sample file that's based on yours with a 3mm all round margin. I've then setup a centre guide and then one either side with 5mm difference. Are you printing these borderless edge to edge so the full 337mm or are you trimming to 331mm? Test.afpub Quote
