I'm using Affinity Designer on a M1 ipad pro 12in. In the past week, there's been a long lag when exiting a document and going back out into the project folder. Sometimes the whole screen (within Designer, but not the entire ipad) blanks out and is frozen for a while before the documents in the project folder reappear again.

Hi @Odo,

Thanks for your report!

I can confirm this is an issue our team are aware of and we're working to resolve this - as I understand it, version 2.3 which was released this morning has some partial improvements to reduce this from occurring, so I'd recommend downloading and trying this update for yourself.

However the issue has not been marked as fully resolved by our team at this time, therefore I'll be sure to 'bump' this development log with your thread now.

Please do let us know if you notice any improvements in this regard on your iPad within v2.3 - as it seems to be somewhat document/iPad spec dependant.

I hope this helps :)

Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Affinity Info Bot to notify us.
