bonjour

Merci

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

What type of layer (object) do you have selected in the Layers panel? I can duplicate what you're seeing, but only when I'm using the Gradient Tool to put a Bitmap Fill into a Pixel layer. I'm not sure that the additional options are supposed to be available there. They are present when filling a vector object.

Thanks, but what kind of layer is it? The Layers panel would show if it is a vector layer of some kind, a pixel layer, an Image layer, etc.

Hi @delphinewilloquet,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums :)

Currently, when using the Gradient Tool to apply a Bitmap Fill on a Pixel Layer, you will not be presented the Extend options on the Context Toolbar.

If you wish to use these options, please use the Gradient Tool within a Vector object, such as the Quick Shape Rectangle Tool.

However I can see why the Extend options would be helpful to be offered in the Gradient Tool on a Pixel Layer, so I will be sure to request this is considered with our developers now.

I hope this helps!
