Removal of old apps

Do I get rid of the previous Affinity Photo app after I have downloaded the new Affinity Photo V2 app in the applications folder on my imac

Hi George and welcome to the forums. It's up to you whether and when to delete v1. I suggest that unless you're short on disk space, you wait a few weeks before deleting it to ensure you have everything set up in v2 correctly.

Hi @George Micallef!

As Mike mentions above, it's completely personal preference as to whether you leave Affinity V1 installed on your machine - the Affinity V1 & V2 apps are completely separate and therefore can be simultaneously installed on one machine without issue.

However if you don't want, or no longer require V1 to be installed,  you can simply use the 'Send to Trash' command on the app, from your Applications folder to remove it from your mac.
