Affinity Designer v1 for Ipad - I Can Not See The Mini Presentations Of The Assets In The Asset Drawer?

I added some of the ruler set as you see.

 

However I can not see their mini presentation in the Asset Drawer.

 

Question 1) So how can I understand which asset is which?

 

Question 2) Can I rename the assets? How?

In V1, about all you can do is to give them a stronger-colored outline, and a light fill.

In V2 (specifically 2.3 or later) you can change the background color (dark, white, checkerboard) which helps further.

On the iPad, no.
