Affinity photo, V2,iPad, app crashes when placing an image.

Hi all

ive just upgraded from V1.

ive opened up an existing file I’ve been working on in V1 and tried to place an image. Every time I try the app crashes when I click done.

rendering the app useless to me. 
please help.

Hi @Frazer welcome to the forums.

Excluding your existing file for a moment. Does this also occur if you start a new blank document and try placing an image?

Where are the images stored/saved that you're placing?

Can you also confirm the model iPad and version of iPadOS you're running. Also try doing a full restart of your iPad as this can resolves little issues.

If it's only happening with your existing document, can you DM me a copy of the file so I can test it as well.

i can confirm after restarting the iPad everything seems to be working as it should.

(can’t believe I never thought to do that first 🙈)
