Macmonkey Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 HI there i was hoping to clip some shapes inside an object and roughen the edges using a textured stroke set to erase to get the attached effect but as soon as i add the shapes inside the object the rough edges disappear. the same happens on both windows and ios. Is this a known issue? and is there a workaround? many thanks Quote

I vaguely remember reading somewhere on the forums that this is supposedly "by design". 24 minutes ago, Macmonkey said: is there a workaround? There is a different workflow. (Vive la différence! ) duplicate the shape give it a solid fill, any color add a stroke using a rough brush of your choice, not in "erase" blend mode Layer → Mask To Below The vector mask will remain fully editable.
