Hajdu Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 Hello, how can I change the language of the help file when I change the UI language? I Have the German version and I can change the UI language for example to englisch. Great. But the help file is still in German. Can I change that? Andreas Hajdu Quote
walt.farrell Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. The Help language changes with the UI language for me. What OS are you using? In the meantime, you could try the Online Help at https://affinity.help which should let you change the language. MikeTO Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 On macOS, if you start Affinity, open Help, change Affinity's language (and restart), Help will still be in the original language. The help viewer is a separate application and is part of macOS so you must close Help and open it again to see the new language. If you're trying to move between English and German help then use the help website as suggested by Walt. Thanks. Sounds like another Windows vs Mac difference I hadn't noticed yet. On Windows, the Help closes when the Affinity application closes, so you have to reopen it when the application reopens and at that point the language is correct.
