Hi,

I can run any Affinity Application flawlessly... but only ONE of them.

Upon starting a second app, e.g. first Designer, then publisher or the other way around, there is a window "license activation".

It asks me to enter my license details, but when I do so it will not accept the login ("try again").

Again: when I run the same application with NO OTHER Affinity app running, it starts up well.

I have searched for this in the forum and found a number of mentions, but no real solution. Since this has been going on for months like this now, I highly would like to ask for this bug to finally get fixed. It's really annoying because since the login wonÄt accept my license I can never work with two applications at the same time. Since months.

Please finally fix this.

Thanks.

By any chance are using mixing MSI and MSIX versions? They can cause the issues that you are having.

No I have not. I only use the version downloaded from the website.

But I just noticed that one app was still on 2.1 and I just updated it - right now I have two apps open, maybe this is fixed now?

I'll check further...

Thanks for your response!

Hi @Jan4444,

Thanks for your report!

As above this can occur when you have a mixture of EXE and MSIX installation types for the Affinity apps, or may occur when using 'out of step' app versions.

I suspect that updating this Affinity app such that they are all running the latest version (2.2.1) should have resolved this for you - but please do let us know if this continues to occur :)
