Hey, would be great if You could add more functions for that tool. Mix some functions from move tool

1. Symmetry edition

When user move corner in horizontally and hold alt then other horizontal corner move in opposite direction
and same when user move vertically

2. Moving whole object

When user grab perspective composition in middle we could move whole object (cursor should change to arrows?)

3. Rotating whole object

Same behavior like in move tool when user is next to one corner rotation icon appearing and we could rotate object

Will be great to have those possibilities in one tool because now some operations are impossible and for other we need to often switch between tools

  1. Good idea. Ideally with cmd-drag like the Move tool.
  2. Simply Select All, then drag any of the nodes. That's the same procedure as you would do with any curve in the "plain" Node tool mode.
  3. Since we're actually in the Node tool mode, there is meant to be no object rotation by design. Unless you'd switch to the Transform Mode, but that's not available for Warp Groups. So usually you can just as well simply press V for the Move tool.

Hm… wait a minute, I just realized you're likely meaning Perspective in Photo, not in Designer, right? :)

So… after checking out Perspective in Photo, I agree with all three points.

One more thing is possibility to scale whole object like in move tool and that will be master tool for me.


Sometimes when i miss clicking at corner whole perspective start draw from scratch - thats quite annoying.
It's not an error but i think that inserting some kind of focus/error area around corner could be more user friendly than pixel perfect targeting

Yeah, the Perspective feature still feels somewhat "unfinished".
Usually I'm using the non-destructive live filter though, not the tool.

Agree with all 3 points.

I would add for mesh warp the ability to use "transform mode" to transform several control points as a box (like the node tool). For example select 4 control points (not necessarily in the center) and scale or rotate them together

The twist mode does the rotation, but not the scaling and is only applied in the center of the mesh warp. Transform mode would allow more flexibility and combinations
