Hi, I need some help. I've lost about 3 days of work on a document, it's rolled itself back to a much earlier version. The backup, on a local USB, has been affected too. I'd saved, opened and closed the program multiple times over the course of these three days with no issues, even turned off the computer. I'd been working on the latest version that morning with no problem.

I've searched the autosaves, no luck there. I've looked to see if it's saved to a strange place, nothing shows up from searching the hard drives. Even checked the history in document to see if it had just crtl+Z'd a bunch of times, nothing there either. Is there anything else I can try?

This is on windows desktop, publisher V2.

Unfortunately I don't quite understand the issue you're reporting - as the app has no way to force a document to 'roll back' to a previous state, especially for a file on an external USB device, that may not have been connected to the PC when this occurred.

When opening a file that has previously crashed, you may be informed that a recovery version exists and are offered the choice to use this, or continue with the opened file. If you chose to use the recovery document, this is only retained if the file is then manually saved.

If the 'History' was not saved with a document then unfortunately there will be no information saved with the Affinity file to indicate the previous steps taken, our apologies.
