You've reported this before and it's not new to this beta...

Thank you for reminding me. I had forgotten about it. If it's not new to this beta, why wasn't it fixed in the previous beta and included in the release?

Transform origin does not work similarly also when marking two or more objects. The document does not even need to be multi-page.

I'm not at all familiar with what it takes to fix such bugs and what's involved in Affinity code, but with every version of Affinity there are bugs in tools that worked in the past and suddenly their are broken. Despite the fact that I love Affinity and always look forward to new features, there's always a disappointment, because again, there will be also a bug in such a basic thing that used to work properly and the fix will take a very long time.

The issue "Enable Transform Origin for 2 node line objects are offset from the object on multi-page spreads" (REF: AF-253) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.4.0.2185".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.

In most scenarios this issue has been fixed, but there is still a case, when it does not work correctly:

  1. Put the object on page 2, 3 etc. (not the first)
  2. Rotate it
  3. Cycle Selection Bounds (.)
  4. Set Selection Bounds (Cmd .)
  5. Relocate the pivot point – it flies to the page 1

Tested in Publisher 2.4.0 (2301)

And even positioning the pivot point for an object rotated this way (set selection bounds) on a page 1 is weird. It is not possible to position it exactly, it goes to its own random position:

  1. Put the object on page 1
  2. Rotate it
  3. Cycle Selection Bounds (.)
  4. Set Selection Bounds (Cmd .)
  5. Relocate the pivot point – for now OK
  6. Move the object a bit somewhere on the same page
  7. Relocate the pivot point again – it flies randomly elswhere as desired
