Mac Ventura, mac-mini m1:

sometimes the blue color disappears while working with text selection; the text is selected but not visible. After some time, the selection reappears. I think this phenomenon appeared after 2.2!

Hi Niklaus,

If possible would you be able to provide a screen recording of this problem? When the text disappears if you save the file then close and re-open it is the text still invisible? If so please could you provide a copy of the document in this state you should be able to upload it to the following DropBox link.

Thanks

Hi @Niklaus,

There is a known bug in v2.2 (AF-295) which can cause this issue. It is caused when using the scrollbars in Publisher to navigate your page so I suspect that's what you may be seeing here...

The workaround is to force a screen redraw by zooming the page...

Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0
Affinity Designer 2.6.2 (3213) Beta | Affinity Photo 2.6.2 (3213) Beta | Affinity Publisher 2.6.2 (3213) Beta

@Hi Callum

I have just uploaded a file that I saved in faulty mode.
The error is now reproducible, as described by Hangmann: As soon as I move the document view in the Navigator Panel, the error occurs. After a redraw, the text highlighting is there again.
Thanks for the quick support; I now know how to deal with the problem until it is solved.
